Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes for product introductions.
• Collaborate with design and R&D teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Assembly (DFA).
• Define, procure, install, and qualify new production equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, BOMs, and process flows.
• Manage and execute pilot production builds, identifying and resolving manufacturing issues to achieve production readiness.
• Establish and monitor key process parameters, yield, and quality metrics during the NPI phase.
• Provide technical support and training to production personnel on new products and processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing engineering within a production environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in applying Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Proven experience in developing, validating, and optimizing manufacturing processes, tooling, and production lines.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience with relevant manufacturing methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, Lean).
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills to drive product transitions from design to mass production.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD) for manufacturability analysis.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, VBA) for data analysis or process automation.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
