Senior Controls Engineer
Job Title: Senior Controls Engineer
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Compensation: Up to 125k DOE
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various automation projects. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering and control systems, along with expertise in PLC programming and HMI design.
- Design and develop control systems for automation projects.
- Program PLCs and HMIs for efficient operation and integration in Siemens.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure power distribution systems meet project requirements.
- Conduct troubleshooting and debugging of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Create and review electrical schematics and documentation using AutoCAD.
- Integrate various control technologies, including Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Fanuc.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI design.
- Siemens and Mitsubishi experience preferred.
- Experience with control systems integration and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution and electrical design principles.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD.
