Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current CCC-SLP certification
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience providing speech and language therapy in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
- Deliver direct therapy services within individual, small group, and classroom environments
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to educational planning, and offer consultative guidance to staff and parents
