We are hiring a Family Law Attorney to serve clients throughout the Gaylord area and surrounding Northern Michigan communities, including Petoskey, Charlevoix, and the I-75 corridor.
This role offers remote flexibility with local court coverage responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage family law cases from intake through resolution
- Appear in court across the Gaylord region and surrounding counties
- Advise clients on custody, divorce, parenting time, and support matters
- Draft and file legal documents with accuracy and efficiency
- Work independently while supported by a collaborative team
Qualifications
- Active Michigan bar license
- Experience in family law litigation preferred
- Comfortable covering a regional footprint (Gaylord and surrounding areas)
- Strong communication and case management skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a flexible, remote environment
