Production Quality Specialist

We are a premier custom manufacturing and large-format graphics firm looking for a Production Quality & Process Specialist to serve as the final authority on our shop floor. This isn't a "clipboard-and-desk" job—this is a high-visibility leadership role for someone who understands how high-end products are built, from the first vector file to the final finish.

This is a newly created position designed to fill the shoes of a long-term industry veteran. We are looking for a professional who has "earned their stripes" in signage, finished carpentry, trade show fabrication, or high-end manufacturing. You will be the bridge between our design intent and our final physical product, ensuring that every project leaving our facility is flawless. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Inspection
• Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process work, and finished products to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Document and report quality issues, defects, and non-conformances promptly.
• Process Monitoring & Compliance
• Maintain and enforce quality control procedures throughout the production cycle.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Improvement Planning & Implementation
• Analyze quality data and identify trends or recurring issues.
• Collaborate with production and design teams to develop corrective and preventive action plans.
• Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing errors, waste, and rework.
• Communication & Training
• Provide feedback and guidance to production staff on quality standards and best practices.
• Assist in training team members on updated quality procedures and improvement initiatives.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Prepare regular quality performance reports for management review.
