What You Will Do:

  • Manage daily operations of a cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks related to material management and manpower, proactively resolving issues that may impact material flow and project success.

  • Develop inventory plan to ensure key process indicators such as investments, inventory turns, and service level are achieved.

  • Coordinate and facilitate effective communication between team members, suppliers, and customers, ensuring alignment on project goals, milestones, and requirements.

  • Develop metrics, tools, and analytics to provide regular reports on sales and inventory to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the project, with a focus on continuous process improvements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Advanced degree and 3+ years Materials / Inventory management, Supply Chain, Supplier Management or Planning experience; OR a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience; OR associate's degree and 7+ years of relevant industry experience; We will also consider 9+ years of relevant industry experience in the absence of a college degree.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Degree in STEM field

  • Inventory and/or Materials management experience

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, Excel and Data Analytics tools

  • Project management experience and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma)

  • Experience working with SAP Materials Management or Warehouse modules and MS Office Suite

  • Ability to work and effectively communicate across the organization, as well as suppliers and customers

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
