Salary Range: $46,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Mattawan seeking Quality Inspectors who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records.
• Identify and report non-conforming products, initiating corrective action procedures.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure product compliance.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection and measurement equipment.
• Collaborate with production personnel to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
• Ensure adherence to established quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, sampling plans, and inspection methodologies.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills for identifying defects.
• Experience with documenting inspection results and generating quality reports.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience operating CMMs or other advanced metrology equipment
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles
• Experience with ISO 9001 internal audits or similar quality system audits
