Salary Range: $58,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of fabricators, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to schedules.
• Plan, schedule, and assign daily fabrication tasks to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Ensure all fabricated components meet strict quality standards and engineering specifications through regular inspection.
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment, adhering to all company and regulatory safety protocols.
• Provide hands-on training and mentorship to develop team members' skills and improve overall productivity.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., engineering, quality, inventory) to ensure smooth project execution.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication, including welding, cutting, and forming processes.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
• Expertise in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of fabrication equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a team to achieve production and quality targets.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and quality control standards relevant to fabrication operations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Background in advanced welding techniques or specialized fabrication processes (e.g., laser cutting, waterjet).
• Familiarity with CMM operation and advanced metrology techniques.
