Landscape / Hardscape Team Leader

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the landscape and hardscape crew on job sites, ensuring efficient and high-quality project completion
- Direct daily activities, assign tasks, and manage personnel to meet production goals
- Train and develop crew members in best practices and company standards for installation
- Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and clients regarding project progress and expectations
- Conduct and participate in job site safety briefings, ensuring all safety protocols and personal protective equipment requirements are followed
- Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery for safety and operational efficiency
- Track and accurately record job expenses and hours worked
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times
- Interact professionally with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Perform administrative tasks related to crew management and project documentation
- Lead by example and foster a positive, productive team environment
- Participate in company-sponsored safety and first aid/CPR training sessions
- Follow directions from supervisors and adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a team lead in landscape installation
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a team lead in brick paver installation
- Minimum 3 years of experience with dump truck and trailer hauling
- Strong leadership and crew management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Ability to train and mentor team members
- Organizational skills for tracking expenses and hours
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to pass a background check
