Landscape / Hardscape Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the landscape and hardscape crew on job sites, ensuring efficient and high-quality project completion
• Direct daily activities, assign tasks, and manage personnel to meet production goals
• Train and develop crew members in best practices and company standards for installation
• Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and clients regarding project progress and expectations
• Conduct and participate in job site safety briefings, ensuring all safety protocols and personal protective equipment requirements are followed
• Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery for safety and operational efficiency
• Track and accurately record job expenses and hours worked
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times
• Interact professionally with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
• Perform administrative tasks related to crew management and project documentation
• Lead by example and foster a positive, productive team environment
• Participate in company-sponsored safety and first aid/CPR training sessions
• Follow directions from supervisors and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a team lead in landscape installation
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a team lead in brick paver installation
• Minimum 3 years of experience with dump truck and trailer hauling
• Strong leadership and crew management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
• Ability to train and mentor team members
• Organizational skills for tracking expenses and hours
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ability to pass a background check
