We are seeking a Winter Operations Driver to join our dedicated snow and ice management team. This position is ideal for dependable drivers who take pride in their work, operate equipment safely, and are committed to keeping our clients’ properties safe and accessible during the winter season.
Responsibilities
Operate plow trucks and salt spreaders to clear snow and manage ice on commercial and residential properties.
Respond quickly and professionally to changing weather conditions and dispatch communications.
Maintain awareness of property layouts, obstacles, and safety protocols while operating snow equipment.
Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure readiness and reliability.
Record service details, including areas cleared and materials used.
Assist team members with shoveling, snow blowing, or site detail work as needed.
Adhere to company safety standards and promote safe, efficient snow removal practices.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of professional driving or snow removal experience (plow truck experience preferred).
Strong understanding of snow and ice management operations.
Ability to operate trucks with plows and salt spreaders safely and efficiently.
Dependable and available for on-call work during snow events , including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record ( Chauffeur’s License preferred ).
Ability to work outdoors in harsh winter weather conditions.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting pay at $25.00/hour , with competitive wages based on experience and performance.
Weekly pay.
Health insurance available after 60 days for full-time employees.
Up to 4 weeks of paid time off for full-time employees.
