| WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

SLATE is looking for an energetic, organized Battery & Electric Vehicle Simulation Intern to join our growing team for the Fall 2025 Semester (September to December). You will be responsible for supporting simulations to evaluate HV Battery and Electric Vehicle performance and summarize findings.

| WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Perform battery and Electric Vehicle simulations using Gamma Technologies (GT).
• Gather and analyze outputs, then summarize the results and validate against the test data.
• Run analysis under different load profiles, identify peak conditions for current, voltage and temperature and tabulate the results
• Prepare comprehensive reports and present the findings to the leadership team.
• Intern will be involved in troubleshooting and resolving issues arising during setting up or running simulations
• Intern will have the opportunity to gain experience in simulating battery and EV behavior
• Intern will learn to work with other engineers in a team environment
  
  

| WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

• 3rd or 4th year of bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Genuine interest in learning and gaining hands on experience in the Electric Vehicle space
• An interest in Automotive Engineering projects and troubleshooting
• A desire to be a strong team player
• High level of mathematical and data analysis capabilities with a strong analytical mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Prior internship or project experience in simulation space particularly with GT is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong academic standing (e.g., minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent recommended)
