Electrical Engineer

Full-Time


Compensation DOE: Up to $100K/year


Although posted in Detroit, MI this position is based out LaGrange, IN.

Our client is seeking an innovative Electrical Engineer to support the research, design, validation, and launch of cutting-edge electrical components and systems. This is a key position within the R&D team and offers the opportunity to drive product development in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where engineering meets practical application.

As an Electrical Engineer, youll take ownership of electrical design and integration projects from concept to production. Youll work cross-functionally with engineers, customers, and suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of electrical components and systems aligned with customer and business requirements.

  Designing, testing, and improving electrical systems, components, and products



• 
  

  Operating CAD software and conducting detailed engineering calculations



• 
  

  Providing hands-on support with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting



• 
  

  Collaborating with cross-functional teams on product development and launch



• 
  

  Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, quality standards, and customer expectations



• 
  

  Participating in continuous improvement and Lean initiatives



• 
  

  Performing system diagnostics and problem-solving for vehicle electrical systems



• 
  

  Supporting the manufacturing team with real-time technical guidance

• 
  

  Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering OR a two-year technical degree with 5+ years of relevant experience



• 
  

  Hands-on experience with CAD systems and 3D modeling



• 
  

  Familiarity with A3, 8D, or similar problem-solving tools



• 
  

  Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams



• 
  

  Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)



• 
  

  Prior experience with vehicle electrical/HVAC/Wiper systems and diagnostics preferred
