CNC Mill Lathe Machinist

Location: Cedar Springs, MI Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour

Job Summary

Are you a skilled machinist looking for a rewarding opportunity in precision manufacturing? We're seeking a CNC Mill Lathe Machinist to join our team in Cedar Springs, MI. In this role, you'll be responsible for machining precision components and producing high-quality aluminum extrusion dies while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. What You'll Be Doing

As a CNC Mill Lathe Machinist, your core responsibilities will include:

• Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate CNC Mill and/or Lathe machines to manufacture aluminum extrusion dies and precision components.
• Blueprint Interpretation & Inspection: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders while measuring and inspecting finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Quality & Maintenance: Monitor machine operations, make adjustments as needed, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot basic equipment issues to ensure quality production.

In addition, you will collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and quality personnel to resolve production issues while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of CNC Mill and/or Lathe machining experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training, apprenticeship, or machining certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments, gauges, and hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
