We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the marine industry and a proven track record in sales.

How you'll make an impact

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and providing expert advice on insurance products.

  • Generate new business through proactive phone and email marketing, building an ongoing pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service
  • Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Form relationships with carriers to develop knowledge of product solutions relative to client needs, negotiate the best coverage and pricing solutions.
  • Proactively stay abreast on relevant industry and market trends, build and maintain a deep knowledge-base on core coverage lines, customer-relevant insurance products and niche programs
About You

Required: Bachelor's degree, 1 year related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing required OR Bachelor's degree, participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP), and appropriate insurance licensing required OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years experience.

Skills for success:

  • Proven experience in insurance sales, preferably within the marine sector.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
