Dyno Test Engineer (Afternoon Shift) – Auburn Hills, MI

We are seeking a Dyno Test Engineer to support engine dynamometer testing in Auburn Hills. This is an afternoon shift position, ideal for an engineer with 2-3 years of hands-on dyno testing experience and a strong understanding of internal combustion engines.

Key Responsibilities:

· Set up and execute engine tests on dynamometer systems following defined test procedures

· Configure instrumentation, collect and analyze test data, and troubleshoot test cell issues

· Collaborate with development and calibration engineers to ensure accurate, repeatable test results

· Maintain test schedules and documentation for engineering and validation activities

· Support safe operation and maintenance of dyno test equipment

Requirements:

· 1–2 years of hands-on dyno test experience (engineering-level, not technician)

· Solid understanding of engine operation, performance, and testing principles

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (or currently pursuing degree)

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work independently on the afternoon shift

· U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (due to project timing and current federal restrictions)

Preferred:

· Experience with test automation and data acquisition systems (e.g., AVL, ETAS, LabVIEW)

· Familiarity with calibration tools, sensors, and emissions equipment
