Dispatch/Scheduliing Coordinator
Position Purpose
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator Assistant to support the Operations team. This role will handle administrative and scheduling tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, requiring strong organization, accuracy, and proficiency in Excel.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with processing employee time-off requests and ensure documentation is complete.
Enter schedule updates into the system under the direction of the Scheduling Coordinator.
Maintain accurate records of employee hours, absences, and schedule changes.
Help prepare and distribute schedules, ensuring timely communication to employees.
Post available overtime opportunities as directed and track employee responses.
Monitor and update scheduling boards and digital tools as needed.
Provide administrative support during scheduling conflict resolution.
Generate basic reports and summaries for the Scheduling Coordinator.
Communicate scheduling changes to team members promptly and accurately.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; must be at least 18 years of age.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Highly detail-oriented, structured, and methodical in task execution.
Prior experience in administrative or clerical roles preferred.
Ability to work alternating weekends and flexible hours in a 2-3-2 schedule.
