About the Role

The Medical Assistant is a vital role in supporting patients throughout their fertility journey. We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Medical Assistant , you will assist with procedures, provide education, and support the multidisciplinary team, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care at every step of their path to parenthood.

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at the Pinnacle Fertility - Michigan , located in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This full-time, onsite role working from Monday – Friday shifts from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM .

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update their information.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and ready.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
• May assist with in-office procedures and provide critical support during egg retrievals and other outpatient procedures.
• May prepare, maintain, and assist within the Operating Room (OR), ensuring sterile technique, proper equipment setup, and smooth clinical flow.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
• Perform other duties and support special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Education & Licensure:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program strongly preferred.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Experience & Skills:
• Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to empathize with patients.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
