JOAK American Homes, Inc. and Partners (JOAK) is an Adult Foster Group Home Provider in Southeast Michigan. JOAK provides 24-hour care for adults with cognitive and mental impairments, as well as elderly foster homes for seniors with multiple diagnoses (Dementia, Alzheimer's, etc.).
JOAK is seeking a full-time administrative associate who will assist existing office staff with a variety of tasks at our Ann Arbor office. The duties will include:
- Medicare and Medicaid advocation for our residents.
- Social Security Liasion.
- Work closely with office staff and support various departments, including finance, human resources, payroll, etc.
Skills, Qualifications, Experience & Computer Skills:
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in an office administrative capacity or related administrative studies.
- Ability to analyze discrepancies in financial matters.
- Ability to engage and communicate with staff, resident family members, and various municipal agencies.
- Attention to detail with organizational skills to manage files, paperwork, etc.
- Processing a variety of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services forms, Social Security Representative Payee applications, Medicaid Redetermination applications/forms, Social Security Representative Payee Reports, etc.
- Experience working in an office setting and proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms.
