Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs, production variances, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Develop detailed financial models, budgets, and forecasts for production operations.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and performance dashboards for factory management.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify root causes of deviations from budget and standard costs.
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests, performing ROI and payback period analyses for new equipment.
• Support inventory valuation, obsolescence analysis, and working capital optimization initiatives.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and cost control.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting capabilities.
• Proven experience with cost accounting principles, variance analysis, and inventory valuation in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial data extraction and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and their financial drivers.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing-specific ERP modules (e.g., SAP CO/PP, Oracle Manufacturing).
• Demonstrated knowledge of cost accounting principles specific to manufacturing environments (e.g., standard costing, variance analysis, overhead allocation).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles and their financial implications.
• Experience in capital expenditure analysis for manufacturing equipment or plant expansions.
