Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech Language Pathologist position is available in Detroit, Michigan, serving a middle school setting. This role offers both full-time and part-time contract opportunities for the next school year, focusing on supporting approximately 45 students with mild to moderate speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluate speech and language abilities of middle school students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students' specific communication needs.
• Provide direct speech and language intervention to students with mild to moderate disorders.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure effective communication strategies and student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with school policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student educational goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification or license.
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably middle school students.
• Expertise in managing mild to moderate speech and language impairments.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
