Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive preventative and reactive maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, environmental (HSE), and building regulations pertinent to a manufacturing environment.
• Manage the facilities budget, including capital expenditures for upgrades and operational costs for maintenance, repairs, and utilities.
• Oversee and coordinate facility improvement projects, expansions, and new equipment installations from planning to completion.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service.
• Optimize utility consumption, waste management, and energy efficiency initiatives across the manufacturing plant.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and productive working environment for all employees and visitors.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of facilities management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and production utility systems.
• Proven ability to manage facilities projects, preventative maintenance programs, and external contractors.
• In-depth understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety and environmental regulations specific to manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and facilities budget management.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience implementing or optimizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Building Management Systems (BMS).
• OSHA 30-hour certification or advanced safety training relevant to manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record in managing capital improvement projects or facility expansion/renovation.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies applied to facilities operations.
• Experience with specialized manufacturing infrastructure, such as cleanrooms, process utilities, or specific environmental controls.
