Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration on robotic systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in industrial robots.
• Install, configure, and commission new robotic work cells and peripheral devices.
• Program and teach robot paths, sequences, and logic for manufacturing tasks.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and system modifications.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and industry standards during robot operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize robot performance and process efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA) in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in robot programming (teach pendant, offline programming), calibration, and complex system troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding and experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams.
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude for repair, assembly, and diagnostics of automated machinery.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) for integrated system troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for robotic applications.
• Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) or other advanced robotics software platforms.
• Experience with industrial network protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, PROFINET) for automation systems.
