We are looking for a reliable Drywaller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for hanging drywall sheets, taping, mudding, and finishing walls and ceilings to prepare them for painting.
What You'll Do
- Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets to fit walls and ceilings.
- Fasten drywall panels to wood or metal studs using screws, nails, or adhesive.
- Apply drywall tape and multiple coats of compound (mud) over joints and nail holes.
- Sand down rough spots to create a smooth, seamless surface.
- Repair existing drywall damage, including holes, cracks, and water damage.
- Clean up the job site and keep a safe work environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a drywall hanger, taper, or finisher.
- Proficiency with tools like drywall saws, utility knives, T-squares, and taping knives.
- Great attention to detail to achieve a perfectly smooth finish.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy drywall sheets (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work overhead.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
