Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join a rapidly growing facility as a Maintenance Technician in a state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled environment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions and problems with production, packaging, and filling equipment. This position involves fabricating parts using tool room equipment when necessary, similar to pop filling conveyors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in production, packaging, and filling equipment.
• Fabricate parts using tool room equipment.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Operate with a valid driver's license.
• Work overtime and be on-call as needed.

Essential Skills

• Journeyman Card in Toolmaking, Tool & Die, Machining, or Machine Repair.
• High School Diploma.
• Experience with tool room equipment such as Bridgeports, Manual Lathes, Surface Grinders, and Drill Presses.
• Experience troubleshooting conveyors and automated equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in welding.
• Excellent communication skills.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, sterile manufacturing environment featuring several filling and capping lines, all in separate sterile areas. The tool room is older, with machines from the 1980s, within a union setting. Shifts available include 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:15pm and 3rd shift from 11:00pm to 7:15am.

This is a Permanent position based out of ROCHESTER, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $108222.40 - $115797.97/yr.

2 weeks of pto and 6 sick days; medical, dental, vision

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in ROCHESTER,MI.
