Data Solutions Architect - Work from home
Our client is looking for an Enterprise Solutions Architect over Data to standardize architecture design templates that will be consistently used and reused moving forward. This role will help shape the work submission process to the architecture team, prioritize backlogs, track progress, and share outcomes across the organization, including setting up Jira boards.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Technology Roadmap: Actively contribute to and inform the company’s Strategic Technology Roadmap, ensuring alignment with short‑term and long‑term objectives, and staying abreast of emerging technologies, especially AI and cloud‑native solutions.
- Cloud‑Native Solutions & Architecture: Design and implement high‑performance cloud‑native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), migrating legacy on‑prem systems and integrating workflow solutions between GCP native apps, Vertex AI, BigQuery, and third‑party SaaS platforms.
- Data Management & AI Integration: Lead the transformation of existing data architectures for optimal cloud compatibility and collaborate with the data science team to integrate AI models into scalable, robust solutions.
- Mentoring & Skill‑Building: Mentor internal teams, fostering continuous learning around GCP, AI, and cloud‑native methodologies, and guide teams through migration and AI integration challenges.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all cloud solutions and migrations adhere to sector‑specific compliance and champion top‑tier cloud security practices throughout all migration phases.
5+ years of experience, expert level, with strong communication skills to present strategy and processes to leadership and stakeholders.
