Katie Johnson PLC is a growing law practice focused on real estate law, short term rental law, business structuring, and trust and estate planning. We work with real estate investors, property owners, and small business clients both locally and nationally. As the practice grows, we are building systems and workflows to better support our clients.
Position overview
We are looking for a highly organized paralegal to support document preparation, client communication, scheduling, and internal workflow management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing details, keeping projects on track, and helping create structure within a growing practice.
Responsibilities
Document preparation including deeds, operating agreements, LLC formation documents, and estate planning documents
Managing client matters in Clio
Tracking deadlines and project status across multiple matters
Client communication and file management
Email management and inbox organization
Calendar management and scheduling
Helping develop and maintain workflows, checklists, and internal systems
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects at once
Clear and professional written communication skills
Comfort learning legal software such as Clio
Paralegal or legal assistant experience preferred but not required
Compensation
Salary range is $35,000 to $45,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
