Our client, a leader in Industrial Automation is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler the ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience using a Forklift/Hilo and excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Sandusky, MI

Pay Range:
1st Shift: $16.19
2nd Shift: $16.69

What’s the Job?

• Ensures accuracy on incoming receipts by counting items and comparing the packing slip to the purchase order while checking packages for damage.
• Initiates sales order process by consolidating received items or by staging items for further processing of shipments.
• Stocking items in correct locations.
• Delivers and retrieves materials by operating material handling equipment, including Hi-Lo and Wave 60 Lift Machine.
• Assembles and prepares orders for shipment.

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma/GED or 2 years of experience is required.
• Must have valid State Driver's License.
• Must meet the specific requirements for operating the Hi-Lo and Wave 60 Lift Machine.
• Ability to be highly organized and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
