Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract
Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech Language Pathologist supporting an outpatient clinic in Detroit, MI. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders across the lifespan. This role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and document progress according to facility and regulatory standards. You will use evidence-based practice to deliver high-quality patient care while working in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Michigan state SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment, articulation/phonology, language therapy, and cognitive-communication disorders preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electronic medical records and clinical documentation in outpatient settings.
- Prior travel or per diem experience preferred but not required.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0900-1700.
- Shift Days: Days 5x10 schedule (five 10-hour shifts per week).
- Expected Hours: 50 per week.
- Start: ASAP.
- May be required to float to other facilities as business needs dictate.
