The Role:

The Sr. Director of Warehouse is responsible for driving ALS’s warehouse product. This role will lead a high-performing team, oversee financial performance (PNLs), ensure regulatory compliance (including Foreign Trade Zone operations), and continuously enhance warehouse processes. You’ll partner with sales, operations, and finance to deliver strategic growth while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction for our warehouses located in Jackson Michigan and Laredo Texas.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead & Manage : Develop, coach, and hold accountable a warehouse leadership team. Build a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and high performance.
• Product Ownership : Define, protect, and evolve our warehouse product offering to ensure competitiveness and client alignment.
• Financial Leadership : Own the warehouse PNLs, including budget creation, revenue goals, margin management, and cost optimization.
• Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure ALS maintains full compliance with FTZ and bonded warehouse regulations.
• Process Excellence : Act as Core Process Owner—design, document, and improve processes to drive efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction.
• Client Engagement : Partner with sales on customer solutions to help bring new clients in the door.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong people leadership skills—able to coach, develop, and inspire teams.
• Experience and Expertise in pricing out new warehouse opportunities
• 5+ years of warehousing operations leadership experience
• 1+ years experience with Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations OR customs experience and knowledge.
• Proven success in managing PNLs and delivering profitability.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to balance client needs, compliance, and profitability.
• Entrepreneur type attitude – Looking for someone who is excited to oversee one of our key products and continue to grow its revenues and profitability.

Compensation:

• Base Salary of $110,000 -$140,000
• Eligible for Incentive compensation and potential profit share
