Join Our Team as a Warehouse Associate!

Slifco Electric is a premier electrical contracting firm serving the Automotive, Heavy Industrial, and Mission Critical sectors. We specialize in both ground-up construction and major renovations, managing electrical packages ranging from small service work to multi-million-dollar installations.

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and general facility upkeep. This role is essential in ensuring materials are handled efficiently, safely, and accurately.
What You'll Be Doing:

• Pull orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle shipping and receiving of materials and equipment
• Load and unload trucks for deliveries and pickups
  • Utilize hi-lo and/or forklift as appropriate for heavy loads
• Back up delivery driver*
  • Complete deliveries and pick-ups in a safe and timely manner as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Perform general warehouse duties and clean-up as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Execute all job responsibilities in a safe manner at all times
• Report any unsafe conditions in the shop, on the road, or at job sites immediately
• Wear appropriate work attire (jeans or work pants and work boots)
• Use company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required

What We're Looking For:

• Class B CDL required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Team player with a willingness to help wherever needed
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations (shipping, receiving, material handling preferred)
• Attention to detail and accuracy when pulling and handling orders
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the company
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual work ethic
• Strong commitment to safety and following procedures

Work Environment & Benefits:
