Salary Range: $79,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate EHS risks and hazards across the manufacturing facility.
• Conduct and coordinate EHS training for all employees.
• Investigate EHS incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform regular EHS audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage emergency preparedness and response plans.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs, policies, and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) are highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience applying Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies to EHS processes.
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms and data analytics for trend identification.
• Demonstrated experience in managing Workers' Compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
