Steel Draw Block Operator $18.50/hr
Location: Warren, MI
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd Shift

???? Position Summary

We’re looking for a reliable Coil Draw Block Operator to join our team in Warren, MI. In this role, you’ll be hands-on in the process of drawing coil rod steel, ensuring quality, precision, and efficiency. If you have experience in machine operation, forklift/crane use, and want a steady, long-term opportunity — this could be the perfect fit.

???? Responsibilities

• Locate and identify steel for processing

• Load and unload machines using a fork truck and overhead crane

• Prep coils using the swagging (pointer) machine

• Operate draw block to process coil rod steel to customer specifications

• Use a micrometer to check finished diameters

• Operate hydraulic manco cutter to remove coil ends

• Perform banding, re-banding, and tagging duties

• Assist with moving coils as needed

• Maintain housekeeping and a clean, safe work environment

???? Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Fork truck license & crane training required

• Basic computer skills for data entry

• Prior manufacturing/steel industry experience preferred

• Ability to work safely and follow procedures
