The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Norton Shores seeking Mechanics who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on manufacturing assets.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Install, align, and test new or overhauled production equipment.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality procedures.
• Fabricate and modify parts using various shop tools and welding equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial production machinery (e.g., conveyors, presses, pumps, robotics).
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Adherence to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe work practices.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an industrial mechanic or maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC troubleshooting and programming experience
• Robotic maintenance and repair experience
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
