Dock Worker
Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Dock Worker to join our team on a Full-time basis. The Dock Worker will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading goods from trucks and trailers, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the dock area. This role requires physical stamina, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Benefits:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
- Physical stamina and the ability to repetitively lift heavy objects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic mathematical skills for verifying shipments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers manually or with equipment, following safety procedures.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues.
- Verify shipment accuracy by comparing information on the bill of lading with physical goods.
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the dock area by removing debris and obstacles.
- Properly label and store incoming goods in designated areas for easy access.
- Coordinate shipments by communicating with drivers, warehouse staff, and other relevant personnel.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and achieve department goals.
