Position Title: Inside Sales Representative
Type: Full-time - 6 month contract (With the possibility of converting into direct hire)
Location: Detroit, Mi
Pay: $23 - $25/hour

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join a U.S.-based manufacturer of facility maintenance and safety products.

Position Summary:
Responsible for assisting customers with order placement, account questions, issue resolution, and other duties to ensure overall customer satisfaction. This role also involves setting and achieving sales goals, expanding existing customer accounts, and onboarding new customers. Some outside travel may be required.

Essential Job Functions:

• Respond to written and verbal customer inquiries to place new orders, follow up on existing orders, and resolve issues.

• Perform field measuring and generate sales as needed.

• Enter sales leads, quotes, and confirmed sales into the computer system for tracking and processing.

• Process customer paperwork, including credit applications, freight quotes, custom color matches, returns, and duplicate invoice requests.

• Follow up on confirmed sales to ensure on-time shipment and delivery.

• Support sales objectives and contribute to overall business growth.

• Handle dealer account information, including commission tracking.

• Maintain customer database by regularly updating contact information.

• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Work Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of experience in customer service required.

• Experience in sales and/or manufacturing industries is preferred.

Skills:

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
