Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for a variety of industrial and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, project management capabilities, and a proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the mechanical design and engineering of HVAC, plumbing and piping for industrial and commercial facilities.
• Oversee all phases of mechanical engineering projects from concept through construction administration.
• Perform detailed calculations and simulations to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, feasibility assessments, and condition evaluations of mechanical systems.
• Prepare technical specifications, construction documents, and reports.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and contractors to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
• Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and changes in regulatory codes.
• Support business development by contributing to proposals, estimating efforts, and client presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in industrial and commercial building systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/OR mechanical design software (e.g., Trane TRACE, HAP, or similar).
• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong leadership qualities and experience mentoring junior staff.

Preferred Experience:

• LEED accreditation or sustainability design experience.
• Familiarity with construction phase services and fieldwork.
