Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in the automotive industry. This role involves operating CNC and Hydromat machines during the 2nd and 3rd shifts, from 3-11 pm and 11 pm - 7 am respectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for running these machines, with comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and Hydromat machines for the automotive industry.
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Read and apply part specifications, work instructions, routings, and process control plan prints to determine dimensions, tolerances, and the number of parts.
• Change and record tooling as specified on tool change charts.
• Safely load specified bar stock into machines.
• Collaborate with set-up personnel and engineering to resolve machine issues as needed.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical inclination.
• Ability to perform quality checks.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints.
• Experience with CNC machines and lathe operations.
• Competence in using calipers and micrometers.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in machine operation and setup.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
