Whitehall, MI, all shifts available, $16 per hour

Job Summary

Are you a hands-on learner who enjoys solving problems and creating precise, high-quality parts? We're seeking a Machine Operator to join our team in Whitehall, MI. In this role, you’ll be trained to become a skilled machinist, working with cutting-edge technology and developing valuable technical skills in a supportive environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Machine Operator , your core responsibilities will include:

• Machine Operation: Operate and monitor electrical discharge machines (EDM) to produce precision components.

• Learning & Skill Development: Train under experienced machinists to build your expertise and understanding of manufacturing processes.

• Quality & Safety: Follow detailed instructions, maintain accuracy, and adhere to all safety procedures.

In addition, you will also be expected to assist with setup, inspect finished parts for accuracy, and continually develop your skills across various machines and operations.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn and grow in a technical trade environment

• Previous machine or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Skills:

• Mechanical Aptitude: Individuals who enjoy working with their hands—like fixing cars, sewing quilts, or doing artistic, detail-focused projects—tend to excel in this role.

• Curiosity & Willingness to Learn: A desire to master new skills and processes will help you thrive.

• Attention to Detail: Precision and focus are key to producing quality parts and maintaining machine performance.
