Sales Operations Manager
LuxWall is focused on the product development, scaling and commercializing of innovative glass products and solutions for the built environment. Job Overview
The Sales Operations Manager reporting directly to the SVP of Sales is responsible for supporting the sales team by overseeing the CRM database and its data integrity, improving quoting to production processes, tracking and reporting sales performance, investigating key sales and market trends for insight, and optimizing the order fulfillment process for customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee sales CRM database ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Inside Sales to streamline processes.
- Ensure customer orders are accurate in CRM and ERP systems, ensuring alignment with production capabilities and delivery schedules.
- Maintain up-to-date sales records, including pipeline tracking, order confirmations, and invoicing data.
- Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and assist in resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with production planning and manufacturing teams to schedule orders in line with plant capacity and lead times.
- Track order progress from receipt through manufacturing, quality control, and delivery, providing status updates to stakeholders.
- Generate and distribute weekly and monthly sales and operations performance reports.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment rate, delivery accuracy, and sales conversion metrics.
- Track targets and actuals for each member of the sales team.
- Assist in demand forecasting and production capacity planning by consolidating historical sales data and market trends.
- Maintain accurate records for audit, compliance, and management review purposes.
- Serve as a bridge between sales, engineering, production, quality, and logistics teams.
- Facilitate regular meetings to ensure alignment on order priorities, lead times, and customer expectations.
- Communicate changes in production schedules, lead times, or product availability promptly to the sales team and customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, supply chain, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in a sales support, operations coordination, or supply chain role, preferably in manufacturing or high-tech materials.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in glass, construction materials, or similar industries.
- Proficiency in ERP (e.g., SAP B1) and CRM systems; advanced Excel skills required.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data, anticipate bottlenecks, and propose solutions proactively.
- Detail-oriented with a customer-centric mindset and a commitment to operational excellence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external clients.
- Ability to balance sales priorities with operational constraints.
- Proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational issues.
- Strong initiative with a results-driven mindset.
