Key Responsibilities

• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine project requirements.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, integrity, and adherence to industry standards.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Prepare metal surfaces by grinding, cutting, or cleaning prior to welding.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment as needed.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of welding safety protocols and best practices.
• Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX) or equivalent demonstrable skill.
• Experience working with various metals, such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Bonus Qualifications

• Forklift certification or experience
• Experience with a variety of welding processes (e.g., TIG, Stick, Flux-core)
• Basic fabrication skills (cutting, grinding, fitting)
