Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory therapy and patient care per physician orders, hospital policies, and departmental standards of care.
- Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures.
- Evaluate patient response to therapy and adjust treatment as needed; monitor ABG results when applicable.
- Educate patients and staff on respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions.
- Perform routine maintenance and service checks on respiratory equipment.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and other documentation related to care delivered.

Requirements
- Current Michigan licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with NBRC.
- BLS certification (required); NBRC credentials preferred for specialty verification.
- Minimum 2 years of RRT experience.
- Proficient with ventilators, BiPAP, ABG analysis; experience in ICU and ER settings.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Ability to work in an inpatient, acute-care setting and participate in on-call and weekend schedules.
