Work‑From‑Home Live Chat Agent
Job Overview
We’re looking for a dependable and customer‑focused Live Chat Agent to join our remote support team. In this role, you’ll assist customers through online chat, answer questions, resolve issues, and provide a positive experience with every interaction. This position is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, types quickly, and enjoys helping people.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries through live chat in a timely, professional manner
- Provide accurate information, troubleshooting steps, and guidance
- Document interactions and update customer records
- Follow scripts and guidelines while still sounding natural and personable
- Escalate issues when needed
- Maintain a calm, friendly tone even during challenging conversations
- Meet daily and weekly performance goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong typing and communication skills
- Comfortable using chat platforms and basic computer tools
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace
- Customer service experience is a plus but not required

- Experience with CRM or ticketing systems
- Prior remote work experience
- Ability to handle high‑volume chat environments
