The spirit of DIY and customization runs throughout every element of a Slate, because people should have control over how their trucks look, feel, and represent them.

| WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Slate is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner, Early Career to lead the strategy and execution of our early talent recruitment programs. This includes internships, new graduate hiring, university relations, and diversity pipeline development. In this role, you'll serve as a key partner to business leaders, campus stakeholders, and DEI teams to attract and engage the next generation of talent.

You will bring a passion for creating equitable and engaging candidate experiences, a strong understanding of the early career talent market, and a data-driven approach to recruiting. This is a high-impact role with visibility across the organization.

| WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Own the full-cycle recruitment process for early career roles, including internships, entry-level positions, and rotational programs.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract high-potential students and new graduates from diverse backgrounds.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with target universities, bootcamps, and student organizations.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand talent needs and align recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Partner with DEI, HR, and Learning & Development teams to ensure inclusive hiring practices and onboarding programs.
  • Plan and attend on-campus and virtual events (career fairs, info sessions, hackathons, etc.).
  • Analyze hiring metrics and provide regular reporting on pipeline health, conversion rates, and program impact.
  • Continuously improve candidate experience, offering timely, thoughtful, and respectful communication at every step.
  • Stay informed on trends in early talent acquisition and share best practices across the team.

| WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting, with at least 2 years focused on early career or university recruiting.
  • Proven track record of managing high-volume pipelines and building scalable recruiting programs.
  • Deep understanding of the early talent landscape, including recruiting cycles, internship programs, and university partnerships.
  • Experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse and Workday), CRM tools, and recruiting analytics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across levels.
  • Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for campus events (10–20%).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with intern-to-full-time conversion strategies and early career development programs.
  • Prior experience building programs from the ground up or scaling existing ones.
