Salary Range: $60,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles, focusing on timely fulfillment of staffing needs.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws relevant to manufacturing operations (e.g., OSHA).
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans for all plant personnel.
- Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs, including safety, compliance, and skills development.
- Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data, ensuring data integrity for payroll, benefits, and compliance reporting.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the manufacturing facility.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and OSHA regulations pertinent to manufacturing operations.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment for diverse roles common in manufacturing (e.g., production, skilled trades).
- Demonstrated ability to handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations in a dynamic production setting.
- Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, coupled with strong data management and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of the workforce.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with safety program development and compliance in a manufacturing setting.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their HR implications.
- Proficiency in Spanish or other languages commonly spoken by the manufacturing workforce.
- Experience working in a unionized environment or with labor relations.
