The Opportunity

The Analyst - Business Operations position encompasses automated and manual processes that require research, planning, reporting, implementation and communication. Incumbent handles a diverse set of issues and is required to be a subject matter expert in a larger than normal set of processes, internal Ally systems, supplier interactions, banking regulations and problem management areas.

The Work Itself

  • Acts as a customer liaison and Subject Matter expert for other functions and departments within Ally Bank.
  • Partners with cross functional teams on key initiatives directly impacting customer experience and/or regarding tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Directly interacts with supplier Business Ops teams to ensure smooth operations, identify and resolve roadblocks, communicate key information, and measure supplier performance.
  • Develops and maintains financial spreadsheets and works with other functions and departments to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Other duties or responsibilities as may be required to effectively and efficiently respond to customer needs.

The Skills You Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

  • +1 year of experience
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1+ years' experience in business operations.
  • 1+ years' experience in financial services.
  • Financial and banking experience preferred.
  • Experience using MS Excel or PowerBI
  • Experience managing vendor relationships
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a wide range of internal customers and external suppliers.
  • Experience building and maintaining organization and structure to complex issues, including financial information.
  • Process management, project related and requirements gathering experience preferred
  • The candidate will have good product knowledge, ability to interpret questions/requests and ensure proper resolution and intervene on more complex situations.
  • This role uses subject matter knowledge to solve a wide range of difficult problems in creative and practical ways.
  • The position must also understand business problems and opportunities for improvement.

Base Pay Range:

An individual's position in the range is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.

Emerging: 65000

Experienced: 90000

Expert: 115000

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
