Landscape Installation Foreman

We are searching for a Landscape Installation Foreman who shares our passion for leadership, quality, and a mission bigger than the work itself.
Position Overview:
As a Landscape Installation Foreman, you’ll lead a skilled team to execute high-end landscape installation projects with precision, safety, and efficiency. You will manage all aspects of jobsite operations, ensuring that every detail meets company standards and client expectations. This is a leadership role that plays a critical part in the success of our projects, our team, and our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
- Supervise and motivate a crew of landscape installers
- Set clear production goals and keep the team focused and on task
- Train and mentor team members in best practices, safety, and quality
- Promote a positive, respectful, and mission-driven work environment
Project & Jobsite Management
- Read and interpret landscape plans and project documents
- Oversee daily jobsite activities and workflow
- Operate skid steers, mini-excavators, and other machinery
- Monitor materials, equipment, and jobsite conditions
- Track labor hours, materials, and job progress using LMN app
Client & Communication
- Communicate clearly with clients, coworkers, and management
- Represent the company professionally on job sites
- Ensure the final product meets or exceeds client expectations
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety standards and company policies
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe equipment operation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
Qualifications:
- 5 to 8 years of landscape installation experience
- Prior experience managing installation crews
- Proficient with heavy equipment: skid steers, loaders, mini-excavators
- Strong understanding of hardscape and softscape installation
- Ability to read landscape designs and use a transit or zip level
- Valid Michigan Chauffeur License
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Unilock U-Tec certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Willingness to work 45–55 hours/week and some weekends
- Available for on-call snow removal work in winter
What We Offer:
- Salary : $48,000–$64,000/year, based on experien ce
- Bonus : Up to $6,000/year based on performance
- Health Benefits : $275/month company contribution toward medical, dental, vision
