We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented mortgage loan processor for our dynamic lending team. Responsibilities

Homeowners Insurance (HOI):

• Request and obtain HOI quotes and verify coverage meets lender requirements
• Review HOI declarations, binders, and policies for accuracy and compliance
• Communicate with borrowers and insurance agents on HOI requirements
• Ensure HOI proof of insurance is active at closing
• Flag and escalate HOI deficiencies to loan officers and underwriters

Payoff Coordination:

• Obtain payoff statements from existing lenders
• Verify payoff amounts including principal, interest, and fees
• Coordinate payoff instructions with title companies and closing agents
• Prepare payoff settlement statements and manage timing of payoffs
• Communicate payoff requirements to borrowers

General Processing:

• Manage loan files from application through closing preparation
• Coordinate with underwriting team and document requests
• Prepare closing documents and settlement statements
• Track loan status and meet all timelines
• Maintain file organization and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Accounting, finance, or business Associate’s degree preferred - High school diploma or GED required
• 2 years minimum experience in loan processing required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirement
• Mortgage lending experience and loan knowledge required, specifically with FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans
• Strong analytical and time management skills and superior attention to detail

Compensation

$25 hourly
