Job Description A partner of Insight Global is looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team. As a Production Supervisor, you’ll lead a precision Assembly team, overseeing daily production operations and managing a large group of assembly employees to ensure output, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. In this role, you’ll coach and develop employees, provide performance feedback and corrective action when needed, and help build a positive, inclusive, high-performance culture that reflects the brands values. You’ll monitor production schedules, communicate status updates and delays to internal partners, maintain accurate inventory of components and finished goods, and support continuous improvement initiatives through documentation, training, and hands-on leadership. You’ll also handle administrative responsibilities such as timecard approvals, vacation requests, and enforcement of company policies. - 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Proven experience managing teams (20+ direct reports preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop employees
- Experience providing coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience working cross-functionally with operations, inventory, and customer-facing teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage administrative responsibilities (timecards, attendance, policy enforcement) -Experience in assembly, precision manufacturing, or consumer goods production
- Familiarity with production and inventory control systems
- Background in continuous improvement or quality initiatives
