Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
• Manage all aspects of cost accounting, including standard costs, variance analysis, and inventory valuation for production.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing strategic financial planning and analysis for manufacturing operations.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Provide critical financial analysis and insights to support operational decision-making, cost reduction initiatives, and profitability improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Optimize working capital management and cash flow forecasting to support production cycles and inventory levels.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive experience in financial leadership, cost accounting, and inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding of GAAP and advanced principles of manufacturing cost accounting.
• Proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial modeling tools.
• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce robust internal controls and drive process improvements.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for enhanced financial reporting.
• Certification or practical experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies applied to financial processes.
• Proven experience in leading or significantly contributing to ERP system implementations or major upgrades.
• Experience in international finance, including multi-currency transactions or foreign exchange hedging.
