Spanish Preschool Lead Teacher
We are currently seeking dynamic, engaging, and dedicated Lead Spanish Teachers for our language immersion preschool program. If you are self-motivated, creative, and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities of a Lead Teacher include:
- Developing and completing weekly lesson plans.
- Communicating effectively with parents about children's developmental progress.
- Maintaining a clean and safe classroom environment.
- Leading and guiding Assistant Teachers in the classroom.
Requirements for Lead Teacher Applicants:
- Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
- Experience in a preschool/daycare setting.
- A passion for learning and a commitment to having fun
- Must have CPR/First Aid certification or be willing to obtain upon hire.
- Ability to pass a Michigan DHS Background checks.
- Looking for someone who is positive, caring, loving, and patient
- Must work well with others
Must meet one of the following educational qualifications:
- Educational requirements: Bachelors in Early Childhood Education, Bachelors in Child Development, or Bachelors in Elementary Education with ZA or ZS endorsement.
- Associates degree with ability to attain a Bachelors in early childhood education or child development with a focus on preschool teaching within three years of being hired. We will support an application to T.E.A.C.H. to help offset the higher education costs.
